AI clips for agencies clipping clients' weekly podcasts
Drop a client's episode, up to three hours, and Burncaps gives back its best moments as ranked, captioned 9:16 clips, framed on whoever is talking, in your browser. Each client's caption style, colours and logo sit in a named preset you apply in one click, and Captions + Clips exports every clip of every episode for one monthly price. The video is never uploaded.

The weekly job: one episode in, ranked clips out
Each client's new episode is one file in Burncaps, and its clips come back ranked, so you start from the strongest moments instead of scrubbing the whole show.
| Client episode | Clips found and ranked | With Captions + Clips or the trial |
|---|---|---|
| 30 minutes | About 15 | Every one exports |
| 1 hour | Up to 30 | Every one exports |
| 2 to 3 hours | Up to 30, the best of the whole episode | Every one exports |
Each clip has the ums and dead air cut, an opening card, captions in your chosen style and a 9:16 frame on whoever is talking: a wide shot of two people cuts to the speaker or shows both, one above the other, and a call with two windows stacks them the same way. Each shows the words it opens and ends on and the reason it was chosen, with the ones we would post first circled, so a clip is checked in seconds before it goes to the client.
Type the host's, guest's and sponsor's names once and every caption spells them right; this browser remembers them for next week. Click any word to correct it, and one click changes it everywhere. Export vertical 9:16, 4:5, square or the original frame.
How long it takes, measured: on a 2020 MacBook with 8 GB of memory, 90 minutes of English were heard on the device in 8.8 minutes with WebGPU (5 October 2026); slower machines take longer. Then, on the transcript of a 110-minute interview, the clip finder read the script in 19 parts and returned 30 ranked clips in 103 seconds (1 November 2026).
Each client's look, one click away
A preset per client
Save a client's caption style, colours, position, size, words at a time and logo as a preset named after them. Up to ten, each applied in one click, so Monday's client and Tuesday's each get their own look.
Their logo on every clip
A client's logo, a PNG or SVG, goes in the corner and at the size you choose, drawn onto the video in your browser like the captions. Logos and presets come with Captions and Captions + Clips, and the trial has them.
Kept on the machine
Presets and logos stay in the browser they were made in and are never uploaded, so each editor saves the client presets on their own computer.
Ten devices for you and your editors
Captions + Clips is tied to the email you subscribe with. Each computer or phone signs in with that email and the six-digit code we send to it; it allows up to ten devices at once, and an eleventh sign-in signs out the device used longest ago. Each device makes one video at a time: a queue for several files at once is not built.
Client footage that stays on your computer
The video never leaves your browser. The sound goes only to our speech service, on a phone unless you switch it off, on a computer only if you choose it. On a computer the client's recording is read in place from your disk, up to three hours and 10 GB, and cut, framed and exported there. For footage you may not share, here is what can leave, and how to stop it:
The sound
English on a computer is heard on your own device. Our speech service is used on a phone unless you switch it off, on a computer only if you choose it, and the page asks first for another language or a recording over ten minutes. So do client work on a computer.
The words
To find the clips and spell names, the transcript text, never the picture or the sound, goes to our AI and is not stored. Tick Keep everything on this device and no sound or words leave either: a simpler built-in rule picks the clips instead.
Your check
Your browser's network tab shows every request the page makes, and none carries the video; the privacy policy lists each one.
Whether a tool may touch a client's footage is for your contract to say; this is what happens to it here.
New episodes from a client's podcast feed
With Captions + Clips, add a podcast's public RSS feed in your account (up to three feeds) and each new episode is clipped as it comes out, with one email each: up to 8 episode hours in any 30 days, counted inside the 20 speech hours of Captions + Clips. Here our server has the episode's published sound, from the feed, heard by our speech service, and keeps its transcript and clips for 30 days (you can delete them sooner in your account). Drop your own video of that episode and the clips appear at once; your video stays on your device and only its length is sent, to find the episode. If the host adds adverts into the published episode, your file is shorter than it: the page then sends a few 20-second pieces of your file's sound to our speech service, inside your speech hours, to place every clip in your file and leave the adverts out.
What Burncaps does not do for agencies
It does not post to your clients' accounts or schedule posts: you export MP4 files to post. There is no shared team workspace or client dashboard: one Captions + Clips plan is one email, its ten devices, and presets kept in each browser. It does not record the show or take links from YouTube or Spotify: it cuts clips from a video file you already have. If you need posting, scheduling or seats, a cloud editor is built for them and we are not.
What it costs, in an agency's numbers
Why it pays: a vendor roundup of podcast editing services (Vidpros, published 2 June 2026, prices checked in March 2026) lists $200 to $800 per episode for 8 to 12 shorts, and $30 to $80 for each extra vertical clip. One client with a weekly episode and 8 clips an episode is about 32 clips a month, which those rates bill at $960 to $2,560 (our arithmetic). Captions + Clips is $29 a month for every client together, the price of one extra vertical clip at the low end of those rates.
Drop a client's episode and see every clip found and ranked before you pay anything. Free exports 2 recordings every 30 days, each with its captioned video and up to 3 clips, with no sign-up and no watermark. Past that, your email starts the free 7-day Captions + Clips trial: every clip exports, no card. Then Captions + Clips is $29 a month, cancel any time. Its first payment has a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Questions, answered plainly
Can I keep a different caption style and logo for each client?
Yes: up to ten presets, each holding a client's caption style, colours, position, size and logo, applied in one click. They stay in the browser they were made in, and come with Captions, Captions + Clips and the free trial.
How many clips does one episode give?
About one clip for every two minutes of talk, up to 30, ranked best first. A 30-minute episode gives about 15 clips and an hour or more gives up to 30, and with Captions + Clips every clip of every episode exports.
Does client footage get uploaded?
No. On a computer the recording is read in place from your disk and the clips are cut and exported in your browser. The sound goes only to our speech service, on a phone unless you switch it off, on a computer only if you choose it. The transcript text goes to our AI to find the clips and spell names, never the picture or the sound; ticking Keep everything on this device stops that too.
Can my editors use it on their own computers?
Yes. One Captions + Clips plan can be signed in on up to ten devices at once, each with its email and the six-digit code we send to it. Each editor saves the client presets on their own machine.
Does Burncaps post the clips for me?
No. It does not post or schedule: you export MP4 files and, when our AI picked the clips, a title and a caption with 3 to 5 hashtags for each, copied in one tap.
Is there an agency plan with seats or client workspaces?
Not today. Captions + Clips is one subscription on one email, with ten devices, unlimited clips from every recording and presets kept in each browser; there is no shared workspace, client dashboard or per-seat billing.
Burncaps facts, checked 2 November 2026
What it is: a browser tool that burns animated word-by-word captions into a talking video, or finds the best moments of a talk, podcast or interview and gives them back as ranked, captioned 9:16 clips.
Price: free for 2 videos every 30 days, each one recording with its captioned video and up to 3 clips, no mark and no sign-up; then the free 7-day Captions + Clips trial, no card (your email only); then Captions + Clips, $29 a month, gives unlimited clips and captioned videos, or Captions, $9.98 a month or $49 once, gives unlimited captioned videos. Captions paid once is not a subscription.
Privacy: the video never leaves your browser. The sound goes only to our speech service, on a phone unless you switch it off, on a computer only if you choose it. Because the video never reaches us, we cannot keep it or train AI on it, and we train no AI on anything you make.
Files: MP4 or MOV in, MP4 out. Captions on the whole video: up to ten minutes. Clips: up to three hours, on a phone or a computer. SRT, VTT, ASS and text files are free without limit for recordings up to ten minutes; a longer recording, up to three hours, gives its script and those files (the first ten minutes free, all of it with one of the free videos, the trial or a plan) and its clips (every one found and shown before you sign up; a free video exports up to 3 of them, and the trial and Captions + Clips export them all, unlimited).
Clips: about one clip for every two minutes of talk, up to 30, ranked, the ones we would post first circled, each showing the words it opens and ends on and the reason it was chosen; each cut to 9:16 with ums and dead air removed, an opening card and captions, framed on whoever is talking. Every clip of the whole recording is found and shown, free and with no sign-up; each free video exports up to 3 of them, and the 7-day trial and Captions + Clips export every clip, unlimited.
Languages and styles: captions in the language spoken, twelve Indian languages heard on your device, translation into 59 languages, 60 caption styles.
After it listens: correct any word (one click changes it everywhere), add or cut words, one to six words at a time, position, size, text and highlight colours, and names this browser remembers, all free and without listening again.
