Speak Hindi, get English captions burned into the video, word by word. Your footage never leaves your device. Free to use: no mark on your first two videos, then a small mark, or $49 once for none.
Add English subtitles, freeLive preview of English captions, rendered on this page by the same engine that burns your video.
Drop the video in. Our speech service (Microsoft's MAI-Transcribe, run in the EU) names the language itself and writes what is said; on public Hindi test recordings (Google FLEURS) it got about 94 in 100 words right before any correction. Only the sound goes to it, never the picture, and nothing is kept. Or keep everything on your device with the on-device model.
Under Captions in, choose English. Each line is translated by an AI model and laid over the same moments, so the English keeps the word-by-word rhythm of the speech. Correct a Hindi word in the script and only its line is translated again. Translation is free and needs no account.
Export an MP4 with the English captions burned in, in any of twenty animated styles, or download SRT, VTT or ASS files. One click more makes the same video with Hindi captions too.
On 29 September 2026 we ran 6 public Hindi recordings (Google FLEURS) through the same speech service and translator you use, and set each English result beside a human English sentence: the meaning was kept in 6 of 6. That is a small sample and we quote it as a count, not a percentage. Translation is done by an AI model, so names, jokes and long compound words can go wrong: read the English once before you publish.
Indian creators, teachers and podcasters who want English-speaking viewers. Search for "add english subtitles to hindi video" and most results upload your video to a server and charge by the month; Burncaps does the work on your own device, so the free videos are not bait: after them you can keep going free with a small burncaps.app mark, or pay $49, once, for none.
Drop the video into Burncaps. It writes out the Hindi that is spoken, then under Captions in choose English: every line is translated and laid over the same moments, so the English keeps the word-by-word rhythm of the speech. Correct any Hindi word by clicking it and its line is translated again, then export an MP4 with the English burned in, or a subtitle file.
Yes. Translations do not use up any free checks and there is no account to make. Each connection has a generous daily limit against abuse. The first two videos carry no mark of ours; after that a small burncaps.app mark, which Pro ($49 once) removes.

No. The video never leaves your device. On a computer the speech model runs in your browser. On a phone, for a language other than English, or when you ask for a closer transcript, you can choose our speech service instead: then the sound goes to it in short pieces, never the picture, and nothing is kept. The transcript text leaves only for the 30 or 60 second cut, the name check or a translation, and a tick box keeps everything on your device.
