We cannot see your videos, audio, or transcripts. All AI processing happens inside your browser, on your device. Your files are never uploaded to us. We do not operate servers that could receive them.
Your media files: processed entirely on your device. Never transmitted to us or anyone else.
Transcripts and captions: generated and stored on your device only.
AI model files: your browser downloads the open-source Whisper model from Hugging Face's content delivery network. That download is a normal file request and includes no data about your media.
Payments (Pro): handled by Stripe. We never see your card details. Stripe shares your email and payment status with us so we can issue your licence. See Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
Licence keys: stored in your browser's local storage on your device.
The site's static files are served by Netlify, which may log IP addresses of requests for security and operations, as any web host does.
Under UK GDPR you have rights over personal data we hold. Because we hold almost none (at most, your email and licence record from a Pro purchase), a single email to hello@burncaps.app is enough to exercise any of them.
